Agree. I think we should shoot illegal drug users.
I've heard that China solved its opium problem by executing addicts. Don't know if it's true but it makes for a good story.

They intercepted a one billion dollar load of cocaine in Philly. Largest drug bust in history. How many heads will role on this one.

Nobody wants to raise taxes. So the government raises money for critical areas (education, transportation, etc.) by approving weed and putting a substantial tax on it.
It works. Necessary things are getting done now. Makes for a better place.

I think you make valid points, but IMO, there is a growing dark side to legalizing pot as well, some of the ramifications we are now only starting to see.
Curious, if I were a MJ user, I would simply grow my own. From what I've seen, the stuff is not cheap. I'm also given to understand that the illegal market is doing well, as they can undercut the legal shop's prices.
