Yep, I believe that this what your decision came down to. Ultimately, ET was able to take people on and refute BS. That didn't sit well, so you used an easy excuse to get rid of him. You will say that this was not it, and that is fine, but with all of the vitriol that gets posted on your page, that is what you chose to act on? Interesting to say the least. Hell, you even started a thread telling people to chill out, and that turned into an exercise in finger pointing. Why not just do the right thing and bring him/her back?

Anyone is able to take on anyone. Happens every day here. Yet, very, very few people EVER get banned.
That's a fact. VERY FEW people ever get banned, especially from off-topic.
I tire of discussing this topic.

He wanted to leave, and you give him way too much credit. More than what your aware of are reasons he is gone. Just support the guy who provides the best horse racing forum in the world or back off completely is good advice. Just think of the non off topic provided sections, way above anyone else.
