I'm going with Animal Kingdom. In a Derby that is this wide open I think you need to get a price. The horse is on the improve and, if his works are any indication, he's going to like the dirt. Add that to a pedigree that can run all day and I think he has a shot.

In a typical year both archarcharch and nehro would fit into a tri and super spot. Both can run from the clouds. Expect big things against this herd.

Although Nehro will be my main wagering focus, I will have a few bucks on Animal Kingdom. He's in form and I like the way he looked at Turfway. Sure there are questions about the surface and his true class, but that's what will help to prop up the price.

I think Animal Kingdom will run good, hoping to be in the money at nice odds. Very good trainer who is hot, good local rider who knows the track.

I'm going with Mucho Macho Man
Not only threw a shoe in last but got a bad ride (maybe it was the shoe), never getting within hailing distance of the rail the entire trip.
Working for stamina with long gallops.

Once they turn for home, they will never see Uncle Mo.
