Who will stop the rain?

Anyone remember a year like this one? How many tuf races taken off, how many lost days, how may off tracks.....?
I don't ever remember it so bad. Track after track. Seems to never end. I seldom play off tracks and try to never use an off track figure no matter what, so my playable races are way down this year. Getting to the point I don't even look a card anymore until the scratches come on on race day, and that certainly cuts my lay down.

How do we get this game indoors?

Problem is, people have short memories. Unless you have the numbers to back it up, it’s just a guess.

Sometimes it rains a lot, sometimes it snows a lot, sometimes it gets colder than usual, etc.

We had the alternative with all-weather surfaces but unfortunately went the wrong way and didn't follow through. Keeneland in particular was losing too many days due to weather a few years back and solved the problem with the all-weather surface. Now they're back to the dirty surface and are paying the price along with all the other dirt tracks. Those opposing all-weather surfaces cannot complain about the inevitable effects of bad weather while rejecting the solution.

Such as, those rejecting all scientific evidence of climate change cannot complain about the bad weather.

I would sooner play muddy track than a AW track any day.
I play no AW tracks and will not start any time soon.
