Finger Lakes pools
Pool sizes mushroomed in races 5-6-7 at Finger Lakes today, particularly the 5th race superfecta at $359k. What is going on?

There is a suggestion TVG was deducting only the base ticket cost, not the whole ticket. So $10 ALL/ALL/ALL/ALL was only costing $10.
The money seemingly was very much not real.

I still don't understand why doing All five times in a high 5 is cheating. And why the track is withholding payouts.
7x6x5x4x3x2 = 2520
So a 10 cent bet is $252

If it was some money laundering scheme, there would actually be advantages to other gamblers from the greater pool size and probable lower efficiency of the betting. That would be way better than if there is a glitch that someone was exploiting profitably.

In all seriousness I wouldn't be shocked if it turned out to be a bug or exploitable weakness in a code block on a live server that was never fully tested.
As a contract developer in the Fortune 500 world back in the early 2000's I've seen it happen a few times. (It happens more than you think.)
Not saying that's the root cause in THIS incident.
But it has to be investigated as a possibility.
It's one of the things that would explain the ability to submit $10.00 ALL-ALL-ALL-ALL superfecta tickets only costing $10.00 (as opposed to $16,800.00 for an eight horse field.)
Alternative possibilities would be a hack or outright fraud.
Again, that's only if the money wasn't real.

$1 minimum @ Churchill on that bet
Also if you box the entire field it does not affect the odds at all as you're covering each combo equally, no?

I think this is the most logical explanation. From personal experience, using the new FanDuel (TVG) app and their horse racing platform, I could see them having issues. Wouldn't have expected it on this scale but their horse wagering site is a fustercluck.
