Sort of like "trumped up sh*t".

Makes perfect sense

if that is the basis for your handicapping, I would, if it were legal, book all of your bets

also what was the most recent book or other print media you read that contain the word. I would add that to my collection

If I had to guess, I probably came across that word for the first time at the 8th grade reading level and most certainly by the time I took the SAT in high school . . . maybe you didn't make it that far. I'm assuming that you are over 50, so you really should have been exposed to the word by most any school system in the USA back then, but even on the off-chance that you didn't come across it in your school days, any well-read adult would certainly have come across that word fairly early on as one continues to read and self-educate as an adult.

Weak minds are amused by shinny objects.
Case in point.

Pure trumpery.Come on dig through your library and name one book or other printed product with the word. I see that you could go back as far as the fourteen hundreds. Take your time.

According to Merriam-Webster, bidens are:

Quote:
a large genus of herbs
Hmmm! Attractive but worthless, or a vegetable?

Please wake me for 2024.

Heed the law of unintended consequences: How embarrassing it must be for you to have inadvertently displayed your limited vocabulary in the course of your inept effort to poke fun at President Trump.
