If you play this put scratches in as there are times when a scratch will bump a horse into top 1/2 power at ml 10 -1 or greater.

KD WAS 0 FOR 4 - power 1/2 longshots.

Whatever the issue is with Belterra...wish they would sort it out. Usually do pretty well @ BTP, and today there are maybe 4 10-1 shots going. Unfortunately...you can't bet them at XB or TS. I'm not gonna go looking all over for somewhere to make a bet. Forget it.

It's been quite a while since I ended the day @ Woodbine with a nice profit.
Only two 10-1+ Top Platinum plays (7TH race PARABLE scratched)...

8th race MARWOODS WAR 10-1 ml took down the big money paying $32.20

Early Double paid about $20.00 - Late Double paid a generous $256.00

For the record, the results for the prior 3 days 9/6 - 9/8 showed 28 plays with 0 wins (again, before scratches), but even with that, the 6 day total is 80 plays with 11 wins (a 14% win rate, pretty good for a longshot play) and 73.80 profit on $160 wagered, with an extremely high +46% ROI

Good job Wolsons, it would be interesting to see how that ROI holds up with a larger number of samples. My data tells me that this method works better at some tracks than others, let's see if you data results in the same.

If you find one of the "good" tracks--with no long shots listed in the top-two...try tossing any 2-1 ML or less. Just play what's left, you'll have a chance to still come out ahead.

You already know about my dislike for betting certain tracks (add Delaware & Will Rogers to that list). I...just like every one of you--has a particular "style" of handicapping. Our individual style works great at different classes, distances, etc...but try another venue and you can burn up your bankroll real quick.

Anyhoo...I'm confident at Presque, Parx, GGX, DM, MVR, EMD, BTP, and so on. They just seem to be right in my "kitchen", to quote the great A's announcer Monte Moore.

Today I played Presque only, since I slept through the Parx early racing. No 10-1 shots, but did pretty well,...especially since I was able to toss 4 horses that were 2-1 ML or less.

Keep in mind...when you're wagering on horses 10-1 or better ML, you WILL have mind-numbing losing streaks tossed in regularly. Otherwise we would all be rich
