Who cares? He’s not a writer , he’s a jockey. His job is to win races and from where I’m sitting. That kid is probably just about the best there is. He’s absolutely right too. And so is Tom. Since when has whipping been a problem.??? A few guys maybe. If the stewards handle it like Tom said .,,… no problem. The other problem is running sore/unfit horses for greed. The crop thing is just a dumb distraction.
PS. I bet exactly one race at Monmouth last summer. The Haskell, and it was a debacle . Great rule ! Lol
