Amazing.

I still don't think we've seen her best. (Yeah, I know how easily ridiculously easy that comment was, and how really really good she could/can be).

An even more absurd comment, could Bricks and Mortar stretch out to take her on in the BC Turf?

If she pulls off the Arc and BC again the statues should go up quickly.

85-90%

John Gosden quoted as saying that he felt Enable was 85-90% fit.
I'm sure there are those on here who might dispute that, but it's the truth.
The man is an undisputed authority on the subject.

Quote:
"It's been a long preparation and she's only started coming to herself in the last two weeks. Quite frankly she's come here at 85%, maybe 90, and in the last furlong I was concerned," winning trainer John Gosden told ITV Racing.

Not sure where all these will wind up next, but if they all show up in the King George along with the recently returned Magical (who looked like she's progressed beyond being Enable's whipping girl) and a good 3yo or two, we'll have the Race of the Year (or at least a stronger race than the much ballyhooed 2020 Oaklawn Handicap).

The step-up to 12 furlongs in that race might shake up the form a bit, too.

Raised questions

Decent effort off a long layoff, however, it's a race she'd have won in previous years.
Maybe she's lost a step, but that is hard to judge running 10 furlongs.

I'd rather see all the principles head to the King George, but in order to answer the question about losing a step, I'd be curious to see a match up between Enable and Magical in the near future.

Hopefully, we get that match up on July 25th

Obviously Europe always produces the top grass routers, but the depth of the division the last few years has been amazing. Even if Enable has lost a step, she's still the Roger Federer of a great group of horses.
