If "Black Lives Matter Marxists" and members of A.I.M have their way that wonderful monument may be coming down.
Leyla Santiago was at Mount Rushmore reporting for CNN.
Santiago didn't describe Trump's visit there as honoring 4 Great Presidents.
Instead she said:
"President Trump will be at Mount Rushmore, where he’ll be standing in front of a monument of two slave owners and on land wrestled away from Native Americans,"
CNN hates Trump. I get it.
But that report makes it clear that CNN HATES AMERICA!
So far this thread has been about life after the virus.
I'm more concerned about Life after the BLM Marxists do their damage to America and the MSM is supporting them.

A wall needs to surround Mt. Rushmore. Wouldn't take much engineering and the cost would be peanuts compared to other spending. It wouldn't diminish the beauty, but perhaps keep anti-American haters on the left away from it.

Interesting history of the construction of Rushmore I saw on PBS. Gutzon Borglum, the sculptor originally started to create Jefferson to the LEFT of the Washington bust, but it cracked and most fell off, so that had to start again to the opposite side of Washington.

Saw a great documentary on PBS about the Statue of Liberty - how it was made, how i got here....if you see it playing again, worth the hour.
Macy'shad good fireworks last night.
Loved how they worked the burning stores in lower Manhattan into the show!  
And a truly great day of racing at Belmont.
Very satisfying holiday - who needs base-freaking ball?
