Who said same results? Europe had tighter restrictions and more lockdons. They had much fewer deaths.

I'm still on your graph that shows Spain, Sweden and Great Britain all showing similar increases at the same time; to me that is "same results." Not Euro v United States death counts.

Sweden tried to get away with a laissez faire approach. Doing very little restrictions. They managed barely (as compared to other Europen counties), to avoid the initial wave of virus growth mostly due to lower population density, and the preponderance of single family homes. The only fair way to compare outcomes, is Sweden to the other Scandinavian countries. All with very similar culture, population density and health care systems. BUT DID DO LOCKDOWNS, and other restrictions. Sweden did 10x worse in deaths than those others....
Now, the virus is more entrenched in Sweden and the second wave is much, much worse than the other Nordic countries...
