I just watched Blade Runner 2049 and the cop had a car drone camera - kinda cool

As we saw in Vegas, they document the actions of true heros in action. When you deal daily with scum and other assorted misfits, the cameras are good to document the truth, which is seldom, if ever, reported by the media of "political action" groups.

Cameras are good, but only so reliable.

Seems that many times when attempting to record ghosts, aliens, and police shootings they malfunction...
