Confirmations and funding excepted it takes 60% to bring anything to a vote in the senate. The Republicans have 51. Not enough.

Well duh, to that collection of biased liars at the Fake News WOPO, of course it is!

To legitimate Americans, it might be one of the best ever.

Speaking of "Heckuva job" Brownie, I had a friend (a very conservative Republican and a strong supporter of GWB) who knew Brown when he was running the Arabian Horse Association. I won't recount the entire conversation other than to say he had not one kind word about Brown, but they had to fire Brown for incompetence. This was a guy who couldn't run an association that did horse shows trying to run an agency that was supposed to come to the fore in severe emergencies.

The point of the article is that when you appoint someone who was not only unqualified based on their resume, but proven to be incompetent, you are doomed to failure.

I remember after GWB was elected, a lot of Democrats said that at least he appointed a well qualified cabinet. I don't think you could compare Trump's selections to Bush's in a positive way.

Trump's cabinet was chosen to run things effectively, not as they have been run for decades.

This is a new way of rocking.
We need people not corrupted by the system.

The mere fact that Rick Perry is in the cabinet at all lends credibility to the article.

Dingy Harry made if a simple majority, for nominations, at least - the Repubs can make a ham sandwich Sec of State if they want to.

Which is far better than one we have in there today!
