Xenon processor?

Anyone ever use a computer with one for software and personal use, other than for the usual high end workstations and servers?

Just got one. Partly refurbished, but scores as well as my Dell I7 on the windows performance test.

Yes I did see this. However I had been seeing refurbished xenon machines advertised at comparative pricing(in many cases better than I7 "equivalent") and got curious.

Found a decent deal with a 3 year warranty with many new components
Just arrived and it is very "equivalent" to my 3 year old Dell I7 XPS 8500.
And I found it with win 7 professional. Do not like win 10. Win 7 professional allows use of greater ram,. Something I may use soon.Came with 32GBs.

So far it does everything the Dell does at a lower price. Xenon has a rep for longevity. Hope so. We will see.
