So you are saying 1.47 seconds difference at the second call is normal?
But the times on either side, first call and stretch call are very close, just a large bulge in between them. That is to be expected?

He posts the same drivel all the time thus deleted. Both post errors all the time. In this case it is probably Equibase. Sometimes it is Trakus. Regardless of how different the methods are, both have problems. When there is a 1 and a half second difference between the two, one of them is wrong. It has nothing to do with the method used to get the times.

Belterra Park has fractions listed for only three of eight races yesterday. That is just lovely.

And to be clear, this isn't a one time thing. They are among the "league leaders" in mistimed races. This day was just particularly egregious so I posted about it.

They are regressing, one out of nine races that actually have recorded fractions for today's races.

Not a time issue but just so people are aware, in the first race today at Belmont there is an error in the most recent (Apr 29) running line of Dream On. She was actually 8th, 7 1/2 lengths behind at the first call rather than 4th by 3.
Equibase transposed her first call position with the 2nd finisher from that race, Katie Ice.

Guess Belterra Park has just given up. None of the races yesterday were timed electronically. Really nice for bettors.

This has been corrected and the chart re-published.

Most of the bettors have already left town. The largest exotic pools yesterday were around 5k. Hard to play into pools like that.
After dealing with missing fractions one at a time for the last 20 years they have motivated me to finally try to automate.

I have the code to handle Belter Park wagers:
2070 if "Track code" = "BTP" then End.

Trakus and "official" timer at Belmont are having some pretty big disagreements. Seems like NYRA needs to pick one and move on. What good does reporting two conflicting times do anyone?
