Boston Bomber to die by leathal injection

http://nypost.com/2015/05/15/boston-...penalty-trial/

I support the death penalty but believe he got off easy. Should be made to rot in jail, in general populace, forever.

I agree. Stupid decision, but i don't expect much from Bostonians, so i'm not surprised. Life in jail for this guy is a much worse penalty considering he's so young, killing him you let him off the hook.

So provide him with free room and board for 50 years?

Let him go meet his Allah.

I believe the death penalty is far greater punishment than life in jail. Can you imagine the uproar if he had gotten off with life? I would have been one of the one screaming the loudest. Let get it over with now as soon as possible.

There is no "ASAP" with the death penalty. The appeals process can (and will) go on for many years, if not decades:

Quote:
With death sentences, an appeal is all but inevitable, and the process generally takes years if not decades to play out. Of the 80 federal defendants sentenced to death since 1988, only three, including Timothy J. McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber, have been executed. Most cases are still tied up in appeal. In the rest, the sentences were vacated or the defendants died or committed suicide.

Not the way we do it.

it only took 4 years to stick McVeigh with the needle after he was convicted in 1997 (executed in 2001)...

Another one who got off easy. He couldn't wait to die. Wanted to be a martyr.

And I'd bet my life that he wishes he could reverse that decision.

Hangem high. Public square. Let the crowd beat him with sticks after his hanging. PPV for the victims.

Im 100% in favor of capital punishment, but in this case, maybe life in a federal prison wouldve been better for justice. Put him in general population, and let the aryans and the brothers take turns on him for a few years. He'll wish he was dead when they can drive a bus through his arse hole.

McVeigh could barely wait to get the needle. This ragamuffin will drag it out as long as he can.

This guy is very young. Chances are with a life sentence he could spend 50 or more years in the pen. The problem here is many of these scum-jerks become so-called born again Christians. They may in fact change in many ways (Susan Atkins) and redefine themselves. In time, the public will certainly shed some of the passion of the crime, tend to forget a lot, and actually become sympathetic towards his new life.
I'd rather see him die while the passion of the event is fresh. I doubt he'll have to wait more than perhaps 5 to 7 years through the appeals and such. This isn't your average death-row case.
You can't allow this monster's life to be revived into a different person that a future generation feels sorry for. He needs to die.
