The Lukas interview on ESPN was rather surprising.

Now that I got interested in what you have to say...you have become surprisingly economical with your words.

Only a total moron would publicize the opinion that the drug testing in this game is "very sophisticated".

TESTING OF ANIMALS

You do not think these labs are doing testing that is valid? I find that quite lacking in a foundation vs Lukas unless you think he is not legit?

Lukas is a bigger scum bag than Baffert. He's along the lines of the scum, of a Michael Gill.

Guy pushed horses, insured for a lot of cash into their graves for the payoff.

Shame on Lewis and William T Young. They were part of his madness.

And thank you to some one on here many years ago, who showed just how low Lukas will go. His horse pulled up, ran him a bullet 2 days later, in a race 3 days later, and he blows up after the Quarter.

Oy vey with this Lukas hate for "running them into the ground."

Didn't we resolve this like 15 years ago?

You bitch when they "run them into the ground..."

And you bitch that they only race once every 15 months these days...bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch...

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 13, 2021 JUSTIFY MATTER STILL PENDING IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT A number of articles have referenced the Justify matter with regards to the recent allegations involving Trainer Bob Baffert and Kentucky Derby winner, Medina Spirit. Contrary to some reports, the Justify matter is far from over and, in fact, remains pending in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. The following information is related to a petition and related motions filed by Ruis Racing, LLC v. the California Horse Racing Board. The petition and related motions were filed against the California Horse Racing Board for failure to disqualify Justify following the finding of a prohibited drug, scopolamine, in an official test sample collected from Justify following the 2018 Santa Anita Derby and the subsequent cover-up by the previous CHRB Board. The following hearings have been scheduled to be heard in Los Angeles County Superior Court: • June 4, 2021. Because the CHRB has refused to divulge all documents related to the Justify matter, Ruis has been forced to ask for the court’s intervention in seeking the release of these important documents. These documents show the extent to which the CHRB, CHRB Equine Medical Director Rick Arthur and the former Executive Director Rick Baedeker, went to hide, change or otherwise handle the Justify matter differently than other positives. This scheme to handle the case differently was set out in emails which the CHRB has continued to refuse to release to the public. The Court will hear the matter to release these documents. • June 16, 2021. This hearing deals with the current CHRB attempt to terminate the matter by endorsing the stupefying decision rendered by the Stewards on December 9, 2020 in which they refused to rule on the matter of purse disqualification. The CHRB had previously agreed to hold a hearing on the merits which the Stewards did not do. This motion seeks to rescind or reform the agreement so that the CHRB will have to conduct a hearing on the merits pursuant to CHRB Rule 1859.5 which requires an automatic disqualification and purse forfeiture in a case such as the Justify case. • June 23, 2021. This is the CHRB counterpart to the previous motion where the CHRB is attempting to terminate the case in light of the Stewards’ decision. As can be seen in the court file which is available to the public, the CHRB on many previous occasions had represented that the Stewards’ hearing was to have been on the merits. Now, in an attempt to finally escape from the entire Justify debacle, the CHRB has switched its position. The Court, however, has been made aware of each and every contradictory statement made by the CHRB and its agents and will accordingly rule on the motion on this date. Churchill Downs set stricter protocols for Derby Day this year, one of which was 24 hour a day security from Monday at 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, May 1. Another was that any sort of treatment that a horse received had to be reviewed by the track vet and that included the medications. This makes Baffert's claim that they treated the horse with this ointment up until the day before the race seem suspicious. The Track vet would have seen the Otomax and he would have known that it contained the drug.
