Considering that the Patriots opened -1.5, 105 and now are -3 is entirely the weight of the money , so LA +3 is likely a fair bet.

More than fair. My line sees the Rams as a 4 point fave. The SB line is for the fans. They know the money will come for the Patriots. But the NFC usually has the better team. The Rams have to limit mistakes, the Pats win by making less mistakes in these games. They have been out played in Super Bowls many times

I asked Wade Phillips about planning for Tom Brady in the postseason and what’s the plan this time around. He told me his plan is to get an earpiece with Tony Romo in it to tell him what’s going to happen before each play.

Personally, I think the Pats will beat-up on the Rams.
Won't even be close.

Usually when it comes to betting the Patriots ,people from outside New England engage in wishful thinking .Often the Pats will open at a number like 8 or 9 and the number eventually gets whittled down to 5 or 6 as people are blinded by their hatred for NE and put money on the other team thinking "This is the week they fail".NOW it seems those same bettors are resigned to a Patriots victory and are "betting the helmet".And that signals one thing to me.
Bet the Rams.

I can't wait for kickoff!!
I know there are people bailing because of the non call, and I saw it when it happened and I freaked; still, I can't NOT watch the SuperBowl. I watch all season, even with the Panthers way out of it but I can't help it....no walking away on the greatest game of the year. Gotta watch Brady!!!!

Rams win this outright. Run the ball, pressure Brady just enough.
Final score Rams 28 Pats 24

The Superbowl Prop bets I like are:
1) Patriots to score first. (-120)
2) Rob Gronkowski to score first touchdown @ 10/1
3) James White receiving yards – Over 53.5 (-110)
4) Will there be a lead change in the 4th quarter – YES (+210)

I like the Rams to win this game. I love how the pundits and many people say you can't bet against the Patriots. The truth is during the Brady era the Pats are 3-5 vs the spread in the SB. That's right if you have bet against them in every SB Brady started in you would be up. So, that's a myth, that only a bettor would know otherwise. Half the guys on TV picking are Ex-Pats and players, they are the worst gamblers. People say the "haters" bet against them...…..no, the smart money does this. The chalk is the chalk in this game for a reason.....the bookies are shooting for the "take down" of epic proportions and they've pulled this off in numerous SB's. Not just the ones the Pats are in.
New England surprised me the way they man handled the Chargers. The last part of the season they went to the running game when they were struggling and the O line has responded. After I lost that game I quickly put money on the Pats vs the Chiefs. The Chiefs defense was soft all year. They got run over. But the Rams are a running team too, they have veterans that can block and step down field. Some of the blocks they set up are things of beauty. So, both teams are pounding the opponent and then opening up the passing game. This is the Rams mode in almost every game and now this is the Patriot way too. No surprise it comes down to these two teams. Physically, they chew the other team up, even if they get a slow start. Over the course of the game the other team tires. Then the two Qb's give the throat punch.
The reason I think the Rams can win this game is their defense. They were banged up much of the year and now are at full strength. Everyone talks about Belichick and McVay but Wade Phillips has the guns and he has gotten this squad to turn it up a notch....hes also won these games before. Their defense smothered the best back in the league in Elliot, in the post game you could see that when he said, "All you guys kept repeating....Rams give up 5.1 yards a carry...this is the playoffs and that team didn't give up nothing today." Then they shut down what's probably the toughest tandem in the game, Kamara and Ingram burned them on a few pass plays but they ran for 48 yards combined. So, this is a team that gave up less than 100 yards running in two playoff games. One was in definite hostile territory. Wade has this bunch cranked and ready to go. Some of these guys have been stars for years and they are hungry! Someone on here called them "soft" . I had to laugh. You don't miss many tackles when Elliot, Ingram and Kamara run for squat. They have some hard hitting Mothers on defense. The Rams can lose this game with the wrong mistakes and the lack of experience but man for man....I think they have more talent....much like last year......when they all said you cant bet agsainst the Pats.

One wild card in this game is the health of Todd Gurley. Against the Saints in a life and death overtime game he got 4 carries. The best back in the NFL and only 4 carries? The week before he had 16 but Anderson had 32. Gurley is not on the injured list but that could be a sham. I have not read or heard that he was blasting away in practice. Without him Rams could have trouble scoring enough points.
On another note Underdogs in last 10 are 8-2 ATS. with 7 winning outright.
Line still at 2 1/2. According to Vegas Insider when line moved to -3 money came in on Rams, knocked it right back to 2 1/2 in 20 minutes.
