One mistake a political party can make is cannibalism. They get 20 people who think they should be president, and they wind up killing or wounding each other instead of killing the other party candidates. If you want to keep an organization running smartly, you need the leadership to do it. I'm not sure either party has that.

That's an interesting statement, and one I'd more likely apply to Reagan. How do you feel Barack Obama fundamentally transformed America? I've never really viewed him that way. I'd like to hear your thoughts.
