With all the apparent claminity going on (has not changed in some 200 years plus), glad both sets of grandparents took the boat from Italy to New York
I'm a lucky guy

Point being that we WELCOME people from all over the world to come here and share our dream, fulfill their own dreams, make their own fortunes, contribute to our culture and share theirs.
As long as they do it legally. When they do that, they become equals under our laws - no difference than a family born here for generations.
Ain't this a GREAT country?

the border wall funding decision.????
Sorry, I don't understand how the supreme logic works on this one.
they are allowing Trump to use $2.5 billion taken from the military funding and use it to upgrade the existing and or construct a new wall. Not sure which it is, I have not seen the already issued construction contracts.
They allow the construction to begin, but also say the litigation can continue.
So if the litigants are successful, what happens to the money, wall and contracts.
It could amount to a pyrrhic victory..
sensible comments are welcomed.
also what happens to the "power of the purse"?
Another point. Trump continually puts down efforts of pass administrations to let China et al take financial advantage of us. What case can be made, that as the most powerful nation in the world (at least from 1941 to date) we have lifted the entire worlds economy to what it is today.
Finally yesterday he was bragging again that the farmers will be or have already received Billions of dollars collected as tariffs.
He willingly ignores that we are paying the tariffs. ugh

Sorry, formula, but when it comes to courts - any courts, there are no sensible comments!
We make judges wear black robes so that no one inadvertently mistakes them for normal, logical people.
MY 2 cents, it is either legal for Trump to do it or it is not.
S* or get off the pot.
GD SC justices are wacked out at times.

Congress funded the military. The military is for national defense and its funds can be used to on the border just like the military is used on the border. A no brainier decision.

formula__2002, I am surprised you have failed to mention the millions of people Trump has dumped from the SNAP program. That also indirectly helps farmers, and all the government employees implementing the program, and the beverage and chip sellers making the 'food'.

Congress funded the military.
Trump is the CNC of the military.
Most SC decisions ARE no-brainers!

Isn't the military's first responsibility to protect our country? Protecting the world and oil stability should be secondary.
China taking advantage of us and Trump response? Nothing like what the Clintons and Biden has done with China.

It think it is a brainer. The use of the 2.5 billion dollars is still under litigation.

Commander in mockery. Add San Francisco to his list which already included Baltimore. If he sees what he considers problems or adversaries, he mocks, never acting with the honor of the office.mocker
He is commander of himself.

Most of his targets deserve being mocked. Years of business-as-usual have led to deplorably unsustainable situations.
