The president doesn't run the states and cities, WHO WERE THE ONES MANDATING LOCK DOWNS.
Trump did address the fear mongering and some states run by real leaders, like Florida, did do better.
But you're just trolling, aren't you?

Gavin Newsome shut down California, end of story. You would have to be as stupid as the people who thought Obama paid for their housing vouchers out of his own pocket to blame job numbers on Trump, and give credit to Biden when they came back.

The Biden administration deliberately caused inflation. Its reasons for doing so may not be clear, but anyone with even the basic knowledge of economics knows his approach to energy and federal spending would wreck any economy.

I simply ask if he could have done more to combat dems/fear mangers.
I never mentioned lockdowns.

The size of the national debt by itself means very little, assuming any amount is considered acceptable.
If your debt is 30T and you're servicing it with 2% bonds, it's different than servicing it with 6% bonds, so inflation is important. Except that with inflation, the value of the debt falls at the expense of the public who's assets also become worth less.
If your debt is 30T and your gross domestic product or GNP is 300T per year it's a very different debt than if your GNP is only 15T per year.
So, the point is that domestic policy that controls these things is every bit as important as the debt size. Under Trump, we managed to keep the bond rates and size of servicing the debt at a lower number than we will with future bond sales. And prior to Covid, he had our economy growing at a competent clip. The right domestic policy grows our economy at a healthy clip so that our GNP can outpace the rate of growth of the debt.

When you tax the middle class with energy policy like Bidens, you are hurting restauant and food stores, all things fresh are transported by truck. If a restauant can't get fresh or has to pay much more for it , how can they stay in business with slim to no margins? As if the help was not demanding more pay.

i have no idea who you blame or appreciate for this inflation because i have a strong feeling that what is coming at us on the other side of this or the alternative ain't too pretty.
Thursday, 1 day after the largest one time interest hike since 1987, the dollar got croaked for 1500 points. that is a first for me for as long as i have been following this stuff. to me, this says that the Federal Reserve and the rest of the central banks throughout the world have lost control of the financial system. what i see is they got us blaming each other, while they come in the other side and rob us blind. our government is rotten to the core. they tell you things to get you hyped up to vote for them, and once they get in all they do is rant and rave and line their pockets up.

My fuel surcharge for our weekly truck delivery just went from 80 bucks the last 6 months to $120 going forward. Btw, he charges the store 25 miles from me the same charge. I’m sure it’s not costing the distributor $120 to drive that 25 miles but everybody is paying more
