Only one in race with a 9F I think is Country House.
Makes this very exciting.

buck x and others
Hello all: I am back on this forum after a long hiatus. So far the only horse that looks like he might be a threat to the Triple Crown is maximum security. He does not have Buck in the X but is undefeated and just keeps looking better and better.

Ever since the new points system was implemented, "undefeated as 3yo" seems to be the most common denominator with all the winners.
And weebee.

I have to backtrack, but, didn’t you write in your last article for ATM that the Louisiana Derby was considered a big prep race?

Yes, they asked me to include it as a big 6 prep, so I added it to the original major 9 furlong preps: SA Derby, Florida Derby, Blue Grass, Wood and Arkansas Derby

Hasn't Aqueduct been a notoriously slow dirt track across the board lately? I have seen a lot of struggling in the stretch and Gary Stevens pointed it out as well on Saturday. This is not to make a case necessarily for Tacitus or Tax but it seems those fractions aren't exactly comparable to the others.
Anyone have thoughts on this, questions or confirmations?
Thanks.

The 120 TimeformUS figure and adjusted 37.31 final 3/8 for the Wood should be a good guide. I'm not sold Tacitus' style is gonna win this year but it looks like he's gonna be hauling down the stretch.
