NFL Free Agency

Some good moves and some bad moves.
Giants just ripped the Browns off...got a defensive starter plus a 1st & 3rd round pick for the poisonous Odell Beckham Jr.
The Raiders paid considerably less for their poison; only a 3rd & 5th round pick for Antonio Brown LOLOL
Recent history shows that these diva WRs don't win Super Bowls.
Ask Randy Moss, or Dez, or Ochocinco.

Chiefs made a nice move in getting the Honey Badger though

As a Giants fan I couldn't be happier they got rid of Beckham. All my friends who are Giants fans feel the same way. Great move. But we still need a QB.

Gettleman is clueless. If they keep Manning they are in tanking mode. I am not sure why he thinks that will help him keep his job. Shurmur is saying wtf dude.

After Antonio Brown forced his way out of Pittsburgh, the Giants may have feared that OBJ might pull a similar stunt if the losing continued. It's better to unload a player a year too early then a year too late.Still, the Giants didn't get enough for a player of Beckham's talent.Ì fear they will reach for a quarterback to take Eli Manning's place.Eli, you ARE retiring after this year, correct?

I despise those 'me first' guys.
They are poison in the locker room, esp during bad times.
Also...is a super stud WR even a requirement for winning the Super Bowl?
Outside of Anquan Boldin with the Ravens about 6yrs ago, I'm struggling to think of a superstar WR who won a title...maybe Marvin Harrison about 12yrs ago??
They just aren't as important as they think they are...and furthermore, do these diva WRs ever win a Super Bowl?
Randy Moss? No
Ochocinco? No
Dez Bryant? No
Antonio Brown? Not yet, and i doubt that it will ever happen.

So good luck to the Browns for inviting drama into what appears to be a team on the come.

The Giants won 8 games in the last two years. What has Beckham done for them? They need bodies. And a QB.
The sooner Eli is gone the better. Retire his number thank him for 2 super bowls. But his time is up and it has been to a while now..

The Giants ripped off the Browns? They had to do one of two things. Either re-sign the guy and keep him. Or trade him before re-signing him. They did both. So now they lose one of the best WR's maybe ever. And now that he's gone he costs them 16 million against the cap this season. Brilliant.

As far as Antonio Brown goes being a Raider fan i hope this works. Brown is a diva no question. But Gruden likes veteran players. I can see this working. I can see it blowing up. The key will be Carr. I'm just hoping the Raiders dont move up to number one and draft Murray. Take these three first round picks and draft DEFENSE.

diva WRs are a 'luxury' , not a necessity
