I am a "purist" of sorts when it comes to certain aspects of the handicapping process. When a horse figures to be heavily bet...then, I cannot tolerate any glaring "negatives" on that horse's resume. Chrome's preferred running style clashes strongly with his post position today...and an out-of-the money finish today seems to me to be a strong possibility.

OK.
Outside of Noble Bird, who can possibly give him problems of clearing into the 1st turn?
And Noble Bird is in the hole, with Arrogate in the hole.
I mean, how wide do you think he'll be in the 1st turn?

The only thing to see in this race?
If a jockey goes too fast or too slow.
2nd thing to see? If anybody follows his lead.........
I think the distance gives the two favs a huge advantage, but gives a few others a chance to push them a little

Is either or winning the
greatest near-lock in history of betting...?
Then proportionally betting both to win in
a way that gives, say, 10% profit no matter
which one wins is the smartest bet of all...
(doesn't matter who places or shows)
