Instead of bellyaching about it, why doesn't Obama look in the mirror and see that his tax and spend ways are contributing to the need to tax more and more. He needs to take Econ 101 and learn about how capitalism works. Money will always flow toward the location of lower cost. Govts through policy can only slow that down, but never stop it.

I hate to see see savings, investment, businesses and jobs leaving the US, but if that's what it takes to teach free market economics 101 to our politicians and central bankers, so be it.

The reaction from the Looney Tunes at MSNBC was as expected.
Quote:
“They’ll keep their money and we all will have to pay their taxes,” an outraged Joe Scarborough said on Monday. “So, you know what I’m going to do so I can afford to pay Burger King’s taxes? I’m just not going to ever go to Burger King again.”
“I think a lot of American should not go to Burger King again if they’re going to cheat,” he added. “It’s wrong for them to do this. They are stealing money from us.”
|
In Wonderland, the money belongs to the government. Legally avoiding taxes is cheating and stealing.

Why don't you guys grow a pair, get right to your point, and blame Obama.
Errks, my bad, it already happened...in Post #2
When will you take him to task about all the Blockbuster Video stores closing? He must have done something to cause that.
Around here it seems like a race btw them and Burger King to see who can get out first

40% vs 26%.......seems like a compelling reason to move.

Hold the pickles - hold the lettuce
Liberals are out to get us
King Obama has upset us
So we're running away!

Wait, this is nothing. The only thing preventing the US dollar from collapsing is that the other major central banks have been inflating as rapidly as the Fed to meet the obligations of runaway spending and government welfare state promises. Global investors are currently in the position of trying to figure out which currency is least bad instead of which one is better or good. That's going to change though. Countries like China that hold massive US debt and Russia that wants out from under the US's thumb are working with smaller countries to slowly create a sounder currency that can be used to park their reserves and engage in international trade. When that happens, the dollar will start to fall and the trickle out of the US will turn into a stampede. I doubt that's more than 10 years away and could be a lot sooner.
