So what do you guys think of the Preakness? Will Mine That Bird be the favorite? who do you think will be back?

If Mine That Bird is the favorite in the Preakness, I am going to box every other horse in the field in the tri and super.

I think it was a fluke

Borel, a muddy track, and his ability to get to the rail. It won't happen again with this horse.

I think Pioneer will be favored, if he goes on. Or maybe I Want Revenge will be ready by then.

Pletcher already said before the race that if dunkirk didn't win, he wouldn't go to the preakness so he is out. I think the same for IWR and FF

Will be interested to see the 2 withers runners, especially this one's for phil if he runs

Mine That Bird

He would be better suited to the Belmont I think. The Preakness is too short a race for this guy. Just my thoughts.

Triple Crown

I think again the Triple Crown is elusive for sure. This guy unfortunately can't take those other 2 races. I truly think the Preakness will be his undoing. He is a closer, and he isn't going to be able to do that with the shorter race. I hope people bet him like crazy, and then maybe I can make a few bucks again on longshots.

Absolutely agree and I this is the first year in a long, long time where I will not be attending either the Preakness or the Belmont and after yesterday I feel pretty good about having made that decision earlier this spring.

If i were them i would enter him and then scratch him if the track comes up dry....unless their juicing him.....then he wil definitely go...who knows his owner is a vet!...no way he can be the favorite though i am going to stick with papa clem...3/1 seems a fair price will wait till the entries and posts come out though....maybe some surprise entrants....

the more i thin about it.. man i dont'know. that race wasn't close whatsoever. like someone else said.. had FF or IWR or POtN did that, we'd be hailing him as the next Seattle Slew.

wouldn't suprise me if he did win. there was nothing flukish about that late turn of foot.
