Was all set to handicap Tampa last night--but those panytwaists canceled, so ended up with Penn. Started watching a movie last night...it was actually a "mini-series" called "Hatfields and McCoys" with Kevin Costner . It was really good but went on for like 5 hours. I didn't get up until 10AM Pacific...too late for most of the east coast tracks.

So I'm left with Penn:

PENN WIN BETS:

2ND- WARFRONT SALSA RVF 5-1 W

5TH- SPEAKER JOHN 9/2 W

6TH- CATTLE DRIVE 10-1 W

7TH- BRANDED HAND 5/2 W

EXACTAS - TRIFECTAS

5TH- 5-6-7

7TH- 3-6-7

EARLY PICK-4

1ST RACE 1 -4

2ND- 5-6-7

3RD- 4

4TH- 1

Good Luck

Are you kidding me? Race #9 at GPX your Top Power #11 on Pace View Platinum (and of course Best 5) Lover's Key paid $62.40. I would say that your Power Number might not be too much in the mix of things where the general public is concerned. Goodness Gracious!! Major Props!!!

LOVER'S KEY

I whiffed on this one completely! Any Top Power 10-1 + is an auto-bet (allegedly)...I just didn't see it .

That's one of those longshots that AFTER the race....it looks so obvious. I never heard of that female trainer, but her record is MONEY. She played that perfectly--she ran the horse at a hundred grand 5f sprint last out, with no chance... while the horse at today's distance now is 12-7-1-1 & today's turf record is now 17-8-2-1, with 5 wins on the year....all around this purse level.

PLATINUM pointed him out as a prime bet, and I've heard from no one that had money on it--certainly not me.

Betting horses is a humiliating game.

Do you play your picks? The one at Gulfstream seems too obvious?

I play certain wagers...Some spot plays and exotics. A good way to find longshots is look for a speed blast 10-15 points above the field, in a sprint. That longshot#2 play is simply a horse that's top power--and 10-1+. That was Lover's Key....whom I missed. I specifically made that an official spot play--so I would be sure and not miss it
So no, I don't play everything. Especially horses with no power number

CTX TRIFECTAS

1ST- 1-2-4

2ND- 1-2-3

3RD- 2-4-7

5TH- 5-6-7

7TH- 3-6-8

8TH- 3-5-8

$6 each box = $36

Good Luck

I didn't mean that to be sarcastic cause I exclusively use your methods and

they do very well at Parx and Mahoning. Today I hit a 10 cent super for over

$160 at Mahoning with a 4 horse box cost $ 2.40. Its easy and I use the Power

numbers for certain things ability is good too but I go by best of 5 and tip sheet.

Everythings there and for guys like me who experiment i find things that work

and stop using them when things start turning. I'm tempted to buy the Bris

file for the month and really get involved in other tracks but right now I'm

content to use only the tracks I'm familiar with. Actually for new users it does

take a few weeks to get the hang of whats in the systems and what works.

Please don't PM me for what works because thats all up to the individual and

how YOU play but Greg's system is a solid 7 and with a creative mind a 9

Best-Bets

Thank you kindly, TimTam.

I'm gonna post the BEST BETS for awhile, with no handicapping just play them as they come. 40% should be a snap, but occasionally a 5-1 or better horse comes out of that group. I'll note those and see if there's a profit to be had--without handicapping.
Also the Top Power horses @ 10-1+ (if any) will be included.

LONG SHOTS SA
1ST- TIGERBEACH 10-1
10- POSIT 15-1

40% WINNERS (best bets)
AQUEDUCT
1st- ABRAXAN
2ND- ZAPZAPZAP
3RD- WOODBURY
4TH- DEEP SEA
7TH- BONITA BIANCA
8TH- HOT MESS

SANTA ANITA
2ND- PORTAL CREEK
10TH- GALLANTLYSTREAMING

TAMPA
2ND- MY LITTLE ROCKSTAR
3RD- READY AND RICH
5TH- NELO MARGARITA
8TH- JUSTABREATHAWAY
9TH- PHYLLIS DRILLER

13 BEST BETS-- BEFORE SCRATCHES

These are from PLATINUM..but the same best bets can be found in Best-Five.

Good Luck,

NCG

What is the best bet on the Best 5. Is it the top horse that is so many points ahead on consensus. Thanks
