One time I interrupted Nick Zito's dinner at Umberto's of New Hyde Park to talk horses as a fan (he doesn't know me). He was about as nice and personable as you can possibly imagine. I hope he turns it around.

Zito has a horse in the 2nd race today which cost over 30x's the stud fee out of a unraced mare who da **** pays 230k for the sire Ice Box?.. i just hope he didn't advise the ownership on this purchase... moves like this can be why Nick is not doing so hot nowadays.
