It wasn't one of the strongest Met Miles ever assembled and he got a very good trip, but he was so dominant you had to be impressed.

Almost as impressed as I was with Exaggerator's win in the SA Derby.

I left Exaggerator out and wound up with nothing. I keyed Stradivari most and Destin 2nd most. Destin winning would have been good enough.

What is it with you old farts?????????????? He went off at 2-1 in what appeared to be a fairly contentious field. He wasn't 2/5. If this was such a no brainer, crap field, I hope you had every discretionary dollar you had available to you bet on him to win, since it was so obvious he would win this race by 20 lengths at a time that was 2 1/2 lengths off the track record.

I think you could have stopped at old farts. Today's Met was a great race by modern standards, but there have been some historically good Mets over the years. I made him the most likely winner, but didn't bet the race at that price.

Class, don't hold his youth and ignorance against him.
He will understand the game better in 20-30 years, after he sees a few more races. You how it is your first time?

I'm glad you have a sense of humor, I don't care who, what, when, where, that was an amazing performance. Name me the better, it will be a short list.

I agree, had he run against Easy Goer, Sunday Silence and Criminal Type in the 1990 renewal, he would've wound up at most fourth.

The replay for this race on the NYRA home page isn't loaded. The one race I want to really see, and it's not available for some reason. Was there a breakdown?
