Cliques that use abbreviations are usually like that.
What is the rule for abbreviations?
The first time you use an abbreviation, it's important to spell out the full term and put the abbreviation in parentheses. Then, you can use just the abbreviation in subsequent references after that.
Learned that rule during composition all the scientific papers I wrote as an undergraduate

All my life I have had respect for several medical establishments: Harvard, Mayo, UCLA, Stanford, and Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins.
Hardly going to change at this late date after all the evidence over the years has not done a thing to temper that.

According to the Ourworldindata site, about two thirds of the population in the UK has received the first shot, and over half of the population is now fully vaccinated.
But if 60% of Covid-19 hospitalizations in the UK are fully vaccinated:
Doesn't the data imply the hospitalization rate for Covid-19 in the UK is roughly the same for both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated?
If that's the case:
Are the so called experts here in the US really the experts ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and government officials, etc. want us to think they are?
Is Covid-19 really a pandemic of the unvaccinated?
Are the current vaccines really the key to stamping out Covid-19?
Imo, critical thinking suggests otherwise.
