Don't worry.

This is completely sustainable.

After all, when the cost of labor goes up, in is unconscionable that the company would pass those costs on to the consumer.
________
Okay, in all seriousness...

There are magic numbers in fast food:

1. The target is to have labor be under 25% of gross selling price.

2. At 30% the restaurant loses money.

This means that when wagers went from (say) $7.50 to $15.00, the cost of everything must double.

There is just no free lunch.
<Seriously accurate pun.>

They should make a law forcing these wealthy companies to just reduce their profit margins. Problem solved.

After all, we are no longer a capitalist, free-market society.

We are now a socialist/quasi-communist society.

If the companies cry about it, we can sic the STASI on them in the form of mostpost.

Rich people don’t order Pizza Hut.

It sucks.

Newsom will tout shorter unemployment lines by having them stand closer together.

Opinion: California has lost 25% of income taxes. Now, a new budget reality must set in.

"Fast-food chains Chipotle and McDonald’s have already announced they plan to raise menu prices in California to offset the higher cost of worker compensation."

$20 big mac meals will be the new normal as Briben group brings rampant inflation back down to tolerable inflation.

McDonalds is another disgusting fast food piece of crap that needs to go bye-bye. It’s employees can barely speak English and comprehend basic math.

Do the world a favor and boycott this place.

I probably go to McD's between 10 and 20 times per year. Their food is fast and consistent.

Why can't most of the employees speak English or do simple math? Are they H-2B employees just filling in seasonal demand? Did they go to a crappy school?

I just watched Michael Moore's 'Sicko' again. This came out in 2007 when Hillary was still a rock star and before the Affordable Care Act (if you get government to pay for most of it). This is free with ads on pluto tv. There were some good points, but you can't please everyone all the time.

I blame this on the Franchises Manager....

They have no hiring or management skills.....

They are just in that position to collect a check...

Who ever puts him in there is to blame too...it goes up the line

I see this every time I go.....

I stopped paying in cash because they look at it for 5 mins not knowing what to

do...

PS- I always check my order...something is missing most of the time

Last I heard California was trying to get rid of 'gig' employees, too...who's going to deliver the grub?
