If this is supposed to suggest a trend, I would need to see more. The original post, on the other hand is one example of a real trending problem.

Those guys are in prison, aren't they? They weren't the beneficiaries of catch-and-release no bail policies in spite of dozens of priors. At least I don't think so.

We don't support EITHER guy in this thread, we support equal justice for all asshole, no matter who they are. It is not Black vs White, it is good vs bad. Unless you are a stinking democrat. But all we hear on the news is White Supremacist vs mostly peaceful demonstrations. Both of these guys are scumbags, but in some cities, their behavior is acceptable and they let them back out on the streets.

Well, that's not true either. But it's closer than the official narrative that says Trump is to blame for the rise in Asian hate crimes, and that it's really mostly MAGA boys doing the attacks.
Or maybe NY is just the exception to the rule...
PS. Asian hate crimes in NY by African-Americans has been a problem way before TRUMP and COVID...just wanted to inject some more facts into the conversation.
Instead of trying to fix the problem, or protesting against it, or raising awareness about it...they just IGNORE IT basically...and instead chose to focus on an entirely misleading narrative because - TRUMP...
