If I was Trump I'd go all out to get the most popular center/right VP I could possibly get. Then I'd proclaim as loudly as I could that Joe Biden is NEVER EVER going to last another term. So you are really voting for Kamala. Then I'd say, "if something happens to me, you'll have a competent person ready to take the reins on day one". I get that there's not much Biden love out there. There's mostly Trump hate. But no one on earth in their right mind can think Kamala Harris is ready to be president.

I agree a vote for Joe is a vote for a Commie Kamala presidency but Trump's VP pick has to be someone that can carry on for 12 years and undo the damage that's been done. Center/right is not going to fix anything. If that's what it will take to get Trump elected again then fuck it. Let the country bottom out.

You are making a good point.

I'm not huge Trump fan. I agree with him some issues, but think government spending is a big issue and he did nothing to get that under control. But the modern democrats are so terrible I could never vote for them. I could easily vote for the democrats that were around when I was young, but not these guys.

If JFK ran today as a Democrat he would poll in single digits. I was two when he died so I don't remember him, but I remember Robert Kennedy.
