Excel pivot table

Hi

I have made some small pivot tables in the past
But when I try to make a pivot table today I get this error message,

I am not sure what they want and why I can not make the table

I've never done this, but it sounds like you did not include the header row in the table.

Could you screen shot the area you are pivoting?

Also , I see columns D & N with same title...If that means anything..

Yeah, not sure duplicate names are cool (though it might handle it automatically.)


How about the "#" also duped. Does excel like that as a column name ?

I got my data to work by deleting the header rows and pasting a new one in its place

I selected a cell than on the tool bar I clicked create table. I named the table Billsmodel.

Now when I select insert pivot table it works.
