Calling Mr.Ed time for you to speak up. This could be impotent.

Maybe the lost object was Jamie Ness' integrity. It has been missing for some time....

I liked this comment to the Bloodhorse article:
I found a thing, near the barn by that place, beside the whatchamacallit. Anyone with information regarding said thing, please call me.

A spokesman for the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission says an "object" found in a test barn at Keeneland Race Course that sparked an investigation is not something that would impact the outcome of a race.
Ok, what did they find then that is so secretive under the hay, a dildo?
Gee whiz!

Agree why cant they say what it is if it doesnt have nothing to do with the outcome of a race. Makes no sense.

Might be the same reason law enforcement doesn't name suspects, if they announced that Joe Blow is who they are looking for, JB can get a head start out of the country. It's different with an inanimate object, but the philosophy might just to give out as little info as possible so they don't hinder any investigation. Just a guess though.

Example: Found, $3000 in cash.
Of course it makes logical sense to sometimes not disclose ALL the specifics of a found object.

Not naming the device spawns endless public speculation and snide remarks (like this thread and in numerous other comments sections under news stories), and the speculation is probably more insidious than whatever the actual device ends up being.
Talk about creating a crisis where there is none. Whoever in the KHRC hierarchy decided to go this "seeking help for a nameless object" route should be embarassed. Especially 10 days before a major event like the BC.

With the meet closing, does anyone know if they ever found out what the object was last year?

Probably not, just figure everyone will forget about it.
