never tried the up and back spot play so I gave it a shot today at Delta

Nice, Mike...UP AND BACK and DOUBLE BACK are both good for steering the user to potential longshots.

A few years back, Steve-the-Programmer ran Platinum spot plays through his data base. He found ABILITY POWER was a winner with a ML min of 4-1, of the tracks he had data for.

When I begin the selection process, I first start Platinum and look for AP [ability power] horses at 4-1 or better. Some days you have no plays--other days 7 or 8.

As soon as I looked at Fairgrounds--I was suspicious There were 5 plays--one was 7/2 so was eliminated [yeah he won]

Your big winner at Delta was also on the AP list-so was a play. Here's how today went with Ability Power:

Take a look at TAMPA 3rd race BETTING ON RED 20-1. Obvious his connections have grandeurs of cashing in on this one--but can they do it? I'm curious enough to take a chance.

Well Greg I kind of like your horse too I have him in my top four pics and I also been following this little angle on TwinSpires on their pace and he fits that too so yes he is worth a bet
