No reason to take a DNA sample off her blouse. They'd only find Trasky's.

Should the impeachment be successful Trump would lose all federal benefits including secret service protection, making him and his family sitting ducks.
An impeached Trump is a dead Trump.

POTUS will be fine. There are many that will offer themselves to protect him. They are just as well-trained if not better than the secret service.

This is not true.
And definitely not true if he is impeached and convicted AFTER Jan 20. It has to be before Jan 20.
Even if he were convicted by next week (which I think would be fairly impossible), he still doesn't lose SS protection.
Quote:
The provisions in the Former Presidents Act do not revoke an impeached president's right to Secret Service protection or Arlington National Cemetery burial.
A separate 1962 law grants presidents Secret Service protection "for a reasonable period after he leaves office." A 2012 amendment to the law extended that protection to former presidents and their spouses for a lifetime and their children while they are younger than 16.
"Secret Service protection is provided by another statute (than the FPA), and would not be affected by impeachment and removal without further action by Congress," Campos confirmed to USA TODAY.
|
Also, a conviction in the Senate does not mean he can't run again.
Quote:
If the Senate votes to convict Trump, it also can decide whether he is eligible to run for office again in a subsequent Senate vote. An impeached and convicted president is ineligible for future office if the Senate decides so in a simple majority vote, according to the U.S. Constitution.
"If Trump were convicted in the Senate, the Senate could take a separate vote to disqualify him from 'any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States.' That includes the presidency," University of Missouri School of Law professor Frank O. Bowman III confirmed in an email to USA TODAY.
|
The Senate would have to take a separate vote for that to happen.

Call it a prediction...
I mean look at him. Wanting to remove Republican Senators via the 14th Amendment for doing exactly what Democrats have done. The accusations of insurrection by President Trump, Cruz or Hawley is pure 100% bullshit. It was a far more peaceful protest then what the Democrats support thru out the 2020 Summer of Luv brought to you by BLM and Antifa... far more peaceful and way less deadly.
I've heard no one from the right doing bail drives for anyone arrested for their actions on the 6th. No prosecutor refusing to or out right dismissing charges as we seen all year long by the left. The hypocrisy and bullshit from the left is... well nothing new. But the levels hit a new high.

The Supreme Court has a track record of chicken shitness in Political matters and make no mistake about it... this is impeachment just as the last one is all political.

The argument of 'incitement' has opened up impeachment to cover just about any politician that has given a campaign speech.

The democrats are still trying to 'make a point' and want to do it quick before more information showing some people planned on trouble before Trump's speech. As more evidence is found and presented, will they get enough votes just because TRUMP BAD?

Probably.
Most of them want him buried so deep, he'll never climb out again.
