Your Favorite Regional Stallions?

In my home state of Louisiana right now I'm high on a horse called Run Production. He previously stood at Foxfire, which was the home of the respected Zarbyev. I believe this horse will have a new home for 2011, not sure. He's by St. Ballado, maybe not known as a sire of sires, but trust me, Run Production is the goods and, if he gets better books, watch out! Ky. might want him next. Who is your favorite regional stallion where you reside?

Freud in NY. They run on anything and some mature early but others come along more slowly. He's been popular because he's a brother to Giant's Causeway.

$1500 gets you a date with Concern in Oklahoma.

$2000 gets you one with Pine Bluff in Arkansas.

I read somewhere that Barry Abrams took 10% of him as a Sire, in lieu of some pay as his trainer or something like that. Damn sure has paid off......

I picked an Unusual Heat on the turf out there a few weeks back that shot me way up in an online Contest. Jcapper loved the horse and as soon as I saw it was an Unusual Heat, I jumped on it. I am not playing SoCal for real, and this was a first time I regretted it. I think the horse paid 24 bucks

Unusual Heat is probably the most under appreciated turf sire standing anywhere. I have a mare in foal to him right now. He is getting near the end of the road, but is one of the very few stallions that made it all on his own, getting very little help from his mares. This is very rare and almost impossible to over come.
