Twelve U.S. cities, all led by Democrats, broke annual homicide records in 2021
Blue cities were disproportionately receptive to the Black Lives Matter defund-the-police movement pushed by progressives in 2020.

Kind of like how DeBlasio says NYC is "much safer" now than in 2013...when he took Office. Murders are up 37% in NYC in 2020...from 2013.

You have to blame the internet also. Without E-bay, Craigslist, etc,etc, there isn't a place to easily sell a large quantity of like items and get caught.
If you ran an ad in a Sunday paper saying you have a large amount of new high end handbags back in the day a detective might wonder where you got them. Today there are just too many ways to fence stolen goods.
