Of course I had KG singled on all of my horizontals. When he drifted up to 4-5 late I felt I was doomed.

Lots of late money came in and it was not on KG. Taxicab nailed it.

Her right front didn't look so hot the final 1/4 in the Apple Blossom.
I think that plays at some point.

Interesting to go back and look at this thread months in.

Knicks Go looked damn good winning the Whitney today.

Going to the Classic? It still might be a little stretch....literally.

But if he can set the pace and slow it down to 48 or so at the half........I think he would be home free

I miss watching front runners hold on.........rare bird nowadays

the NYRA feed gives you a great view of the horses in the paddock and on the track at Saratoga. it may not help you find the winner to the race, but it sure helps to narrow down the field while you sit at home trying to figure things out.

the other thing I would love to have is the same close-up view of the workouts on the 2-year-olds.

I tried to beat him yesterday. I wasn’t 100% convinced about that last race against weaker on a track tilted towards speed. But he was impressive. He wasn’t gifted that loose lead. Irad tried to do just enough on the 1st turn to at least make Rosario use Knicks Go early to be loose and I think he did. It would have been pointless to go all out to stay with him since he’s faster and better unless he wanted to be a rabbit for Jose So he backed off. Then they all tried to make a serious bid against him on the 2nd turn, but he had another gear. He’s simply a very fast horse. Not running with him is a major problem but running with him can be a bigger problem for most horses. 10f will be another issue, but at 9f it’s going to take a very fast high quality horse.

It is so sad what the handicap division has become. Knicks Go isn't that good and he romps in one of the premiere races in the country.

Same with me.
Didn't want him at all yesterday.
Knicks Go now has to be considered the best horse in the country.
The way he's winning is scary good.
I'm now putting him on the "only bet on him.....or skip the race" list......have no choice.
Brad Cox.....uh huh.

I went through the stretch run and gallop out( NYRA is pretty good about showing the gallop out past the finish) several times.
I think 9f is about spot on for Knicks Go. I don't think he wants 10f. And with $5 million( BC Classic) on the line, I find it highly improbable KG will be allowed to get loose on the lead.
KG was impressive. Swiss Skydiver put on the pressure for 6 panels, then she spat out the bit.
KG went on with it.
Speaking of SS, I think she will be facing Distaff runners for the remainder of the season.
Yes, I am aware of the schedule being turned on its head by the outbreak of Equine Herpes in the same barn structure,

The five starters in the Whitney finished in the exact order of their odds. Just what handicappers love, a race with no overlays.

Trainer issue aside, how good was Charlatan? He put Knicks Go away and kept running.

The Swarm Intelligence community had the superfecta for 10¢.

Very good.
I think the 2020 Malibu was the best sprint I've seen since Christmas.
Express Train came out of that race and moved forward nicely, and I think Collusion Illusion will be heard from soon enough.
Not sure what's going on with Nashville.
Independence Hall should stick to sprinting.

Even after assuming his ultimate form Knicks Go has shown repeatedly that he folds like a cheap suit when challenged on the lead.

If you've got the early speed, putting him away is no great feat especially if you eventually get run down by a Euro coming back off a layoff who hadn't seen a dirt course in the past 12 months. That Euro went back home and has gotten his head handed to him twice by 3yos.

You are a tough audience.

I don't consider finishing 2nd in the King George to Adayar and ahead of Love to be an embarrassment. Since it was tough to know how good Mishriff was in the Saudi Cup, I'd have to say that race affirmed his quality to me. He's very good on both surfaces.

Knicks Go back in the Lukas this Saturday.
I can't tell if they're taking Show wagering on this heat.
If they are, thinking the number goes above 250k.
