Fortunately or unfortunately Mueller is running one of the most impressive investigations ever in regards to secrecy. I am incredibly impressed with just how little they've leaked. Its pretty amazing.

That said Bernstein has said he has someone inside the investigation and a couple of things he's personally broke have been backed up by other sources.

1) remarkably little has been leaked by Mueller's group,
and
2) what little has been leaked is credible information that is corroborated by other sources.

It's clearly possible for both of these claims to be true simulataneously.

There hasn't been a peep out of the investigation... nothing.

Bernstein, the famous Watergate reporter, has said on a couple of occasions he does have someone he talks to. He's broke one or two things on the investigation first that have later been corroborated by other outlets.

It is possible to A) run a really tight ship and B) have a single reporter who has been reporting with very high accuracy.
