Betting on Hong Kong races from Canada

I just found out that Hong Kong Races are not available in my province (Alberta) through HPI. Any thoughts on the best method to bet into HK racing?
Thanks.

When these were first available in British Columbia, crowds of Chinese fans (many of whom were transplanted racing fans from Hong Kong) showed up at the OTB's, the standardbred track in Surrey and at Hastings Park weekends.

Local press published the Chinese equivalent of the racing form with the most interesting charts I ever saw. They gave the fractional clockings, but instead of listing the lengths behind at the regular calls, they published a photo of the entire field at each call so that enterprising people could create their own North American charts.

For a time, Hastings even offered the race calls in Chinese. BIG success story for many a year.

I believe Xpressbet offers Hong Kong. As a resident of Alberta you can open an Xpressbet account through the Rocky Mountain Turf Club.

Thanks, Eagle.
Unfortunately, Xpressbet won't carry HK races in Alberta either. It looks like Horse Racing Alberta has its knickers in a twist for whatever reason.
I guess I'll have to wait till the local racing Czars get their poop in a group.
