Indeed he did. And so did a whole lot of others.
It will be interesting to see how they spin the southern border in the end.
A lot of fingers being crossed at the moment, I bet.
It really is kinda sick, no pun intended.

I also would like to know what Trump did about the virus that was so bad and how the Biden regime is doing a much better job.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...ia-cases-delta
quote: Covid-19 cases in California have shot up for all age groups in the past two months, but millennials – defined here as those between the ages of 18 and 34 – have seen their case numbers climb faster than other age brackets.
Infections among millennials have jumped 554% above what the age group saw in a comparable two-week period in early June, according to an analysis of data compiled by the epidemiologist George Lemp. Those 35 to 49 saw the next highest climb, with cases growing by 479%, while those 65 to 79 saw a 222% increase in the same time period.
A similar trend is playing out nationwide, federal data shows. Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from 31 July indicates that across the country, the highest infection rates have been recorded among people aged 18 to 30. That group is experiencing 111 cases per week per 100,000 people, compared with 103 cases for people in their 30s and far fewer for other age brackets. (Neither state nor federal data allows researchers to hone in on the exact ages currently considered to define the millennial generation, which differ from source to source.)

Right now as I type this I'm in San Diego a few hundred yards from the beach.
All around me:
People from everywhere are here on vacation. It's that time of year.
Things aren't as crazy and off the hook as most years. But the beaches and local restaurants (those that are left) definitely seem more crowded than last year.
Local college kids are heading to the bars and to parties three or four nights a week - just like they do every summer.
NOBODY under the age of 35 even cares any more.
If you talk to them it's obvious they've clearly had ENOUGH.
They'll also tell you the new variant poses no danger and for them it's literally no worse than a cold.
The Data (as reported by the San Diego County Health Dept as of Aug 04 2021) seems to bear this out.
New Cases Daily are trending up a bit. And that's what the media is pounding the table about.
But New Hospitalizations haven't gone up in proportion to new cases like last year.
Neither have New Deaths.

Selecting ONE small geographic area upon which to base pandemic re-runs is called sample error. Whether one cares on not, does not change the bug....It will infect those unprotected caring about it or not

I'm right here at at ground zero.
So yeah, it isn't hard to have some insight into why case rates for Millennials in California are going up.
By the way, the shape of the data (7 day moving average) for new cases daily and new deaths daily for ALL of California mirror those of San Diego County from my previous post.
Sample error? Not.

We are dealing with a WORLD WIDE infection and you resort to a variation of the 9 blind men and the elephant.
from Wiki: The parable has been used to illustrate a range of truths and fallacies; broadly, the parable implies that one's subjective experience can be true, but that such experience is inherently limited by its failure to account for other truths or a totality of truth. At various times the parable has provided insight into the relativism, opaqueness or inexpressible nature of truth, the behavior of experts in fields of contradicting theories, the need for deeper understanding, and respect for different perspectives on the same object of observation.

And yes. They're getting infected.
But that doesn't mean the sky is falling.
Imo, just the opposite.
Depletion of susceptibles.
