Ohio Derby G3 $500k + Derby points

Interesting betting race.

Full field, the Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Storm the Court, Lot's of pace on hand, and for good measure showers and thunderstorms

whoa!

hmmm...

DRF Preview; Mike Beer, Dan Illman and features the timeformUS pace projector (Celtic Striker is a scratch after running/winning the Easy Goer 'match race', but still hot).

Scratch #15 Celtic Striker, and #11 Soros

You got some maidens in here at big prices. Sometimes they hit the board.

Storm the Court was the upset winner in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile. That's a big race on the resume. Got a dream trip that day, and hasn't had success vs. better than he'll face today. Interesting to see if the weather forces his hand to go forward a bit.

I like the Unrighteous. He'll have to work a trip and stay on in the stretch.
Parker is tough in these races..., and if it does turn out to be sloppy, maybe he can stalk in the clear, from the outside...

It's a tough race to center around one horse.

You got so much early speed in the race...
The Lebda has a puncher's chance to win the battle up front, and go on. See if he carries his form. He's had some big races for trainer Claudio Gonzales...

Code Runner seems like a big ml Underlay, but he could get a trip.
Rowdy Yates is also a tough ml price to take, and has to get a clear trip, but I like this horse. His Saudi Cup race was solid.

South Bend has run the gambit of value, and is back up to the 'dismissed' category. Not a big fan, but style fits...

Sprawl may take some money for Bill Mott, has a chance to contend...

i gotta listen to talking horses now... that's a decent roundup

I used Sprawl and South Bend expecting fast pace, but the more I look at the race the more I think the winner was very usable. His figures weren't far off most of the other contenders and he had a very wide trip up close to the pace last time. So he was better than he looked. On Thorograph, he was pretty much a standout.
