Am I reading it wrong or was Tap It To Win's last race was a tick or two off the track record for 8.5F?

I think it was .5 seconds off, track record was around 1:39.24 and he ran 1:39.74 if I remember correctly

The Belmont is kind of a fun race.
If you plan on fighting the Law, obviously, it's your 2nd birthday... But even if you feel Tiz the Law is a 'lock', there's some meat on the bone for exactas/tris/supers...
Think of it as a 'vertical exotic'. You've got a single in the first leg and up to three more to select.

Do not know about the derby, there is a pretty good one on the West Coast right now that should have a say in that race.
As for the Belmont.

I'm like Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction trying to "ketchup".

Most likely winner
Best chance to upset the chalk
Longshot consideration
I am in doubt that the can repeat his last effort in this spot and i think he may need to to win here. I don't necessarily think the track record will be in jeopardy either, no matter who wins, but this race looks so different on paper from his last that a short price on the isn't acceptable to me and I think he'll be 2nd choice on the odds. Gotta take a stand somewhere.
looks like an interesting price play if he's fit off the layoff. Running style might put him in contention for a piece and he figures to be long odds. Also much room for improvement and he's reportedly been working great.
