Lone Star

Any further information about Lone Star? After running the first race seems like an unusual time to cancel the rest of the card and the meet indefinitely due to Covid-19.

That was strange. Was going to play the P5 as PPs for it were included in DRF.

As if the chances of something like that happening are so unlikely?

What, exactly, did they expect?

They expected that when it happened they would immediately suspend live racing.

What was the point of reopening, then? Seriously...

This actually solves several problems for me. Of particular note:

1) Trying to wade through all the Asmussen, Broberg, and Diodoro horses from race to race, which can cause spontaneous dizzy spells, and
2) Trying to figure out how to make sense of all the Bling in races restricted to Texas-breds....

But most important, best wishes to the Lone Star worker who tested positive, his or her loved ones, and anyone else who may have been exposed. Hoping for a speedy recovery.
