Woodbine Track Profile

Dumb place to probably put this but I will do it anyway

I am currently creating a track profile for Woodbine this year and I wanted to share it with the members of Pace Advantage and ask/see:

1) What users thought of the setup
2) What users thought of the data used

I also wondered if anyone had any way of using this on a day to day basis since I am just starting to use this data like this and I would like to be successful in making it possible to track trends of Woodbine and see if that can turn into possible winners as the meet goes on

I love learning about new ideas/projects and I would appreciate it if anyone thought this was a good idea or bad idea?

Thanks and the file pdf is attached below

Gambling is frowned upon by Woodbine.

It looks good. Can you include the sectional times?

Last season, in a what appeared to be a push to get more and more horses running on their new inner turf course, logic took a long vacation in Etobicoke Ontario

Since the vast majority of horses running at Woodbine have had the entire winter off, the first few weeks are just about all "conditioning" races at short sprint distances. The unique thing about this season, being so late to start, is the use of the turf course so early.

Traditionally, this track gets into normal predictable function around May 15th in most years when they started the 2nd or 3rd week in April. OF course you can throw that out the door this year.

Unlike the old Poly which got faster as the day heated up, the Tapeta has shown to be more evenly throughout a card. The horsemen like it as injuries are way down.

Very important - temp turf rail placement.

Looks good! You might even talk me in to playing WO again.
If a lot of info it already there, playing comes easy.

Lol I wish it were my own observations on clocking and note taking

No I use Equibase charts and if I am missing info I go back to the replays and see something for myself to get onto the spreadsheet!

So the 15 feet is the correct number or is the number of when it says Lane 1 or whatever? Sorry would like to be right about that and not messing up the values on the spreadsheet

Thanks Tom

Sample error has a BIG chance to abound in that data.

The rest of the year's card looks NOTHING Like the first two to three weekends as it has been for YEARS and YEARS there.

Then isn't that valuable info for NEXT year, opening weekend?
I keep my profiles in Excel so I can filter out by date, track condition, etc.
It's not error, it's reality.

When reality changes, you will see it in the profile.

Not sure how they do it there - is Lane 1 always the same setting?
If so you can use that.

I'll see what I can find out.
