Here's a question for you.. how do you think Trump would respond to the prospect of the free press being suspended? If he was told that the media would no longer have the freedom to question or criticize him..
Do you honestly think President Sensitive J Thinskin would be opposed to that?
Hell, would any of the resident Trumpettes be opposed to it either?

That's Rasmussen a very conservatively stilted poll. The same one that had Romney up in 2012. I'm not knocking the number but its the most conservative leaning poll there is to cherry pick from just as the PPP/Suffolk is the most liberal. Plus the economic realities of Obama's first year vs. This one are night and day different.

Freedom of the press should only be available to legitimate news organizations.
Obviously, this is a very slippery slope, one best addressed minimally rather than across the board.
But we certainly have case now were the right has been compromised, ie, the NY Slime, NBC, FNN....and certain penalties should be imposed. What those are are best left to those better equipped than I am. But just allowing anything to be printed without verifiable evidence to back it up is not good. Just citing unnamed sources is not good enough.
And seriously, man, you think Trump could stop free press even if he wanted to?
PM horsey, maybe you guys can find a buy one get one free offer for some big-boy pants.
