Country House out of Preakness
Guess this makes speculation about what if Country House wins the Triple Crown a moot point.

You'd think this would have to be something major with the Triple Crown a possibility, but I guess Mott know his horse better than I do. Horse's health and safety comes first.
He thinks this is a virus so he's going to start the horse on antibiotics? Please don't. Antibiotics can't touch viral infections but I guess his vet will tell him that. Hope he waits for the bloodwork first.

I was just about to post that, but you beat me to it. Surely Mott knows antibiotics have no effect on viruses.

everyone knows its probably a bold face lie... Mott knows he got a lucky undeserving KD win and dont want to be exposed when his horse runs 6th...

A re-match would be made for tv... but unlike pro-leagues with common interest. or control like the MMA, WWE etc. , the event won't occur.
It is implied that if you win the KD that you run in the Preakness. Mott can't even keep his story straight on why he isn't.

To have a rematch, you must of had a match. Once CH eyeballed him in the stretch, MS pulled away easily. The Preakness distance would only exacerbate CH’s inferiority. Now, the Belmont distance may work in CH’s favor but I’m not convinced.

I think MS would run 24s in the Belmont regardless where the leader (or field) might be.

then they should run him to prove their point. Run him in the Preakness, too.

Perfectly put...
I am very disappointed he won't be in Baltimore, as he was a "bet against" with both hands!
