I won $250 on DerbyWars today!
https://www.derbywars.com/tournaments/42802#1
I'm posting here because I used TimeformUS to handicap the entire card, whereas most days I'm still attached to BRIS.

Derby Wars
Wish I could play on that site - looks awesome - but I live in Louisiana and we cannot play.
Heard nothing but good things about that site, most important is that they promptly pay you what you won.

It's a group of fun, horse race loving horseplayers.... might have to give the others a head start though if you're playing with TFUS data!

Correct. Feb 8th the last day.
Basically I was told about two weeks ago my job would be moved to NYC, and travel between NYRA tracks and Monmouth would be involved.
My girlfriend of 2.5 years is in the final year of Grad school. I have no interest in separating with her. It's not an easy job. In 2013, I made speed figures for over 10,000 races. I also did write-ups for over 200 races, and those write-ups produced an absolutely huge net profit.
Last year was a tough year for me personally, and the juice was squeezed pretty dry. I'm just finishing out the stretch now, before I move on and go back to betting.
TimeformUS still has a very good team. They'll be fine without me. Absolutely no one better than CJ. He's a great person, and a very talented man, and without question the most efficient figure maker I've ever seen.
Great 2013. Incredible roll throughout virtually every month of that year. But I'm moving on, and like I said, they have a very good team and will be fine without me.

If it has already been asked then my apologies but what does it mean if the race rating is blue/pink/etc...?

Red-Nearly all or all races were won on or near the lead
Pink-A substantially higher than average amount of races were won or or near the lead
Blue-Nearly all or all races were won by horses outside the top 3 at the 1st call
Light Blue - A substantially higher than average number of races were won by horses outside the top three at the first call
We don't really want to get into calling them biased tracks, because that is very subjective. These are objective ratings that tell you the above.
When I had my program, I used symbols and they related like this:
+: Speed +
>: Speed
<: Closer
-: Closer -
Pretty much corresponds to the colors above.
